Nothing seemed to kill it or stop it from growing, including phosphate remover, so I tried this product. It takes at least 10 days to work and even then the effects were not visually overwhelming. That said, it did weaken the algae and cause it to go pale and lift off the affected plants, so i could better remove it by hand. Lots of horned nerite snails are eating what remains.
