    Amazing what you can build with wood

    This is the first ugears model I have attempted and I am really impressed. If you had told me I could build a working model car from wood without using glue I would have laughed in your face, but I did just that. Not easy, not quick and yes I made a couple of mistakes which I had to work hard to correct. In all honesty I did have to use glue to repair a couple of pieces I broke and to get just two joints that were a bit slack, that’s two in hundreds. Really enjoyed this project and I really recommend it to others.

    Beautiful model, difficult and problematic to assemble. Didnt drive.

    The design is amazing and fun to assemble but unlike the hurdy gurdy I made, some of the parts brake! The two front axles are very thin and both snapped off! They are important since they hold the front wheels! I had to super glue the caps. Also some sections didnt fit tightly and had to be glued as well. Some of the illustrations are not clear and it resulted in several sections needing dissmantling and re assembling with parts that had not been added! The power mechanism didnt work either so it has just become a static model! I wil cotinue to buy these models but weill be keeping my super glue handyy!

    Nothing like it ----- UGEARS

    Absolutely Brilliant , Precision at its finest .The connections/ joints are exact you can understand why NO GLUE IS NEEDED . This motor I have just finished is added to my collection .You take your time and relish in the joy of making and then to see them working . Over 14 yrs of age and then no limit , I am 77 years old and if I could I would love to be a tester for UGEARS so you could say I have got the bug .Just try one and see ,

    A great wet weather time filler

    Great fun assembling model. Made a few mistakes which I had to take apart and reassemble. Only problem is that I cannot get the self propulsion working and one of the pistons falls out. Still looks impressive though. A great wet
