Like another review said, it arrived smelling musty, just like all army surplus shops smell in the UK. So I took the advice of the other review and hand washed it because the colour ran a lot. You really won't want to wash it in the machine with other clothes. Material is quite thin compared to other Keffiyehs I own, but it's also much bigger so the size makes up for it.
