      Excellent DVD. Excellent animation and music.

      It's an excellent animated story and we loved it when it first aired on network TV in 1985 or 86. Our now adult children really wanted to see this version again (of the many that have been done over the years, it is far and away the best). Great to have it on DVD.

      My childhood explained!

      For me it's the personal nostalgia. Few other movies reminds me more of my childhood and homeplace like this movie. Yes, I actually started crying watching it again. Call me sentimental, but for me it meant a lot to finally watch it again. This movie hits right in the feels with both music and beautiful animation. Recommend it for all!

      As good as I remembered

      Wonderful story of friendship and a lesson artfully told about looking for happiness everywhere except where it can truly be found. Ostensively a children’s animated feature but can be enjoyed by persons of any age! Highly recommend!

      Wind In the Willows DVD

      This DVD is a faithful copy of the VHS original. Format is 4:3, and resolution and sound are, as expected, comparable to the original. The telling of the story is faithful to the book, and the images and soundtrack are charming.
