Have now resorted to binning over half of the plants, potting some just in water and removing top soil, using BTI and covering with sand/lava for the very big ones.

This time, I used deionised water instead of rainwater, and it worked. As I still saw two fungus gnats flying around, I bought the bacteria again, along with Beauveria Bassiana. This combination is very effective, and my baby bonsais are finally safe.
