Nowhere in the description does it state that these shocks don't have actual shock pistons with holes. The pistons are just loose in the barrel so it'll probably take diff fluid or something super thick to even get any resistance. If you look at the package, you'll see that you received the shocks, and also a set of pistons and rubber compression bladders in a seperate bag. We had a batch of these shocks that came in from the factory with seperate pistons and rubber bladders (typically they come packaged in the shocks, but there was a mistake on the assembly line, and they came packaged seperately). But we did make sure we included both the pistons and bladders for you in the package
