    Great replacement for Hella lamps, but BEWARE if yours are Cibie (Valeo) on some jeep XJ's!

    The product and service were excellent; BUT NOT SUITABLE for some jeeps XJ that have Cibie headlamps. The dimensions and fittings are the same, but headlamps that have electrical level adjustment and are manufactured specially for jeep by Valeo have differently shaped 'lugs' and these Hella lamps will not fit fit into the headlamp housing. It may be possible to adapt the original housings by some careful filing of the metalwork but I cannot confirm this. If you have Hella headlamps these are a good buy and recommended. If yours are marked Cibie on the glass and have Valeo marked on the inside of the reflectors (like those on my 1997 jeep cherokee ltd.) unfortunately they are not a direct replacement and you will have problems. Sadly I had to return mine.
