Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this album from one of Ireland's most respected Rock bands of the '70s. Horslips released many superb albums along the way, becoming Ireland's best Folk-Rock and Progressive band. The Book of Invasions was originally released in 1977, subtitled "A Celtic Symphony," was, like the Tain, inspired by Irish mythology, this time the story of Tuatha de Danann's conquest of ancient pre-Christian Ireland.
