  • Great performance, poor recording!

The music(composition, performing, arranjements) is great, the songs are memorable and the performance outstanding, but the recording is very poor. Unfourtunatly, like many recordings of the past, the brasses seems to scream in our ears, low frequencies are almost inexistent. The drums, the main star of the album are in second plan. You have to make an effort to listen to its details. Is important to say that are differences of recording between tracks, cause the songs were recorded in different time and places. Some are better, some are worst. I bought it remembering the movie(Whiplash) wich has an outstandng soundtrack recording. I wish I had bought the original soundtrack, maybe I still do it if I find one at good price. Paulo Vitor.
