    JVC brilliant ! DAB/FM clock radio

    What a lovely little clock radio!, very good looking, modern ! and fairly easy to use!...my only little gripe is i hate these little delicate bits of wire that comes out the back which is supposed to be the Antena !! i really miss the old proper metal telescopic ones they used to have on all radios !! much better looking ! But despite that niggle everything is fine with this clock radio good sound and a dimmer for the clock light which is very important! a very good unit for the price!

    OK but nothing special.

    This JVC clock radio is OK but the sound quality soon gets tiring, due to some distortion. For its basic purpose of waking you up its OK and the station presets work well, but I wouldn't recommend it for general listening.

    excellent for having at bedside at night

    Im writing a helpful review because if you want a really loud boom box style radio this is NOT for you . However its' perfect for me because I like to have the volume very low and quiet for sleeping to ...and since its quite trebbley it sounds good at low volume but not at loud high volume ... its easy to use and works well .. If you buy a really bass heavy radio they dont sound nice at low volumes as all you hear is bass .. . . so this is perfect for if you like a little trebble mix on a low volume at night times

    Excellent radio alarm…I really can’t fault it.

    This is an excellent clock radio and a total bargain too. It’s neat, tidy and unobtrusive when set up beside my bed. The time is easy to see if awoken during the night. The sound quality is crystal clear. The seller was 100% too….id highly recommend this item, it’s not DAB+ just DAB but I still got every station I wanted and countless more to pick from.

    Display is glaringly bright even on low setting

    The display is terrible - even on the dimmest setting it blares out the light. I'm in my 50's and got my first clock radio when I was 15. As far as this being a object to sleep next too forget about it. I am beginning to wonder if the one I've been sent is broken because in the picture the display is mellow. However it definitely in not. If you want a clock radio without too much light avoid this. Just to add, you can turn the display off altogether but the point I'm making is that the display technology is cheap old technology Ione should expect to pay 9.99 for at best.
