    Letters are not centered and are tilted (not perpendicular)

    It is only sutable for copper or oak wood. Can barely mark brass. Some of the letters/numbers are off-center or skewed and some are just "smudges" from the casting. So no use for those. The punch is way too weak for the surface area it needs to mark.

    Good for wood & Leather but poor on Aluminium

    To be honest, you're not buying a high quality item, so set your expectations accordingly. The auto punch device is okay as a centre punch, but it doesn't deliver the power to mark aluminium, only wood & leather. One or two of the letters in my kit were distorted ("E" & "F") during manufacture. The letters aren't all oriented the same way on each stamp, so if you decide to hold and hit them with a hammer, be careful, as you have to align each letter by eye & not rely on the shafts being the same way on. I wouldn't attempt to stamp my post code on anything important and expect it to look straight. For very occasional use it's ok. Overall. Probably good value - just....

    Spend more, buy better quality.

    Using as its intended, the automatic punch does not have enough force to even stamp an aluminium vin plate. Using the stamps manually, revealed that some of the digits are not even square to the shank of the stamp, so if using a stamping jig to keep the stamp straight, the imprinted digit comes out wonky. One ruined vin plate....replacement not available.

    Letters and numbers

    The stamps are to small and very hard to read once they've been used. To be honest I thought they were 6 mm they are only 3 mm
