    all balan designs use ft240-43but watched a yt vid which stated this core was better. comp both cores on VNA and this core has half the loss.dont knowpower rating but guess 100w.if you run 100w or less this is the superiar core.

    Hi, yes you will find that core is less lossy than a 240-43 specifically on bands above 15m. It's a good choise for an antenna, specifically on the higher bands. The 240 cores stacked are more usable on 80m to 20m, but both are excellent. A single 2643251002 will handle 100w data FT8, with 400w SSB as and EFHW as the antenna is well tuned with a good capacitor.. Have fun experimenting and thanks for supporting the shop.
