    Happy wife

    I purchased both of Mr Baker's books for my wife, she is an avid reader but has a short fuse for her reading material, if a book doesn't grip her within the first few pages it's put aside. I have been instructed to look out for the next instalment of Mr Baker's life story, both books have been read quickly and several times. Very funny and honest writings, with more than just a blast from the past for our age group, although anyone would find them a worthwhile read.

    Hilarious!

    I was always a big fan of his radio shows but this is the first book of his I've read after watching the recent TV series with Peter Kay. It's hilarious, especially the stories about escaping pets, DIY disasters, and his dad Spud. I found myself literally crying with laughter. A great read - look forward to book 3.
