    50yrs on, it's still a milestone of Prog Rock & the 2008 remix breathes new life into it

    One of the greatest Progressive Rock albums of all time. I introduced my 20yr old son to Genesis with The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, 50yrs after its release and he loves it! Phil Collins rated it as their best album, although he claims he's never read the story about Rael on the album sleeve. Fortunately for my son, someone developed animated graphics with lyrics on YouTube, so we could watch the entire album and story unfold.

    Stick with the remastered version.

    I waited a long time for this CD, already having the remastered version. Listening through headphones I became uneasy early on about the validity of this remix, but it wasn't until "Colony Of Slippermen" that things began to go radically wrong, with one particular effect being completely omitted. Stick with the remaster is my advice! A great shame, as the previous four remixed albums are excellent, particularly "Trespass".

    Excellent quality

    My only copy of "The Lamb …" was recorded from an LP to a tape and then to a CD so the quality was not that great! This new copy of the CD sounds fantastic and is a must for fans of the Peter Gabriel days of Genesis.
