    Bayonet Light Adaptor Plus Review - Unsatisfactory

    No clamp to prevent the cable being pulled out. No gland to prevent moisture / debris getting inside the plug. The electrical contacts are simple screws and not proper machined components. The screwed part of the plug is made from plastic which is so thin that it broke immediately upon first use.Sorry, very poor value.

    Great little problem solver!

    I have a high ceiling in a room where the existing light fitting is screwed directly against it, this makes bulb changing awkward. I connected this device to a short length of cable and put the lampshade at the cable’s other end. Now I can simply unplug the whole affair, change bulbs at ground level and Ustinov plug it back in. Great problem solver for less than a fiver!!

    Works, but poor quality

    The manufacture quality is poor, the two contacts, are two screws which hold the two wire terminals in place. There is no facility to secure any wire into the product, so the two wire terminals have to do the job. It is a design issue, so whilst it works, it lacks quality.
