Another wonderful piece of history. When this telegram was sent, my cousin had arrived in St. Mere Eglise with the 325th GIR on the 7th, on the 11th of June he died of his wounds received at La Fiere. It makes me think of all our service personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice. A truly great seller, with great communication, and wonderful artifacts from her own family. Thank you!!!
