So off I went to the merchants to get the correct sized washer. It was a Baxi washer and cost £3.50. My issue wasn't the washer cost but really the cost in lost time. I spent 1 1/2h in total messing around fitting and filling, then draining and then going to get another washer. Really annoyed on the day. Photo shows the washer supplied, the original one and the new one I bought.

I made the mistake of trusting ebay search engine Even though I checked the seller Petrol Scooters full description there is no indication they are not dimmable. Although to be fair it doesn't say they are. Stuck with £10 worth useless bulbs.
