About this product

Product Information

Stephen King said, Writing is an act of self-hypnosis, and in that state a kind of total emotional recall takes place. THE DREAM STEALERS started out to be a long letter to my children, but as I got into the writing it evolved into a novel. I was able to relive all the sweet and bitter years of a half century ago. From the beautiful women, the club singing, the Navy camaraderie, and even the months I spent in a Naval hospital. As I delved into the writing, I could recall events and word for word conversations that I'd long ago forgotten. And then in my later years re-experiencing the preciousness of my first true love and the hurt of living the adage, History tends to repeat itself. However, another adage applies: Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved. ...let's just be glad we had some time to spend together... {For The Good Times}

    As usual, this seller is completely trustworthy: the book was as described, terrific value, arrived very swiftly from America, well packaged and safe. It was an old library book, but in great condition and appearance, and there can be no criticism, simply thanks and praise for a job well done.

    An excellent book lot of valuable information regarding all aspects of sewing. A very rare find as bought from the USA. Which was dispatched and and delivered quickly. Excellent communication throughout the transaction. This book was in very good condition as described and well packaged. Happy to highly recommend this seller with reasonable postage from USA. Many thanks.

    Book as specified, rapid delivery (from USA to UK), and a reasonable price for the book. Overall, my book arrived in "ok quality" packaging. A padded "book mailer" envelope was used. However, inside, there was no other protective packaging. One small point of constructive feedback: perhaps cardboard packaging could have been implemented, as a number of competing book sellers are now implementing cardboard packaging, especially for higher price books subject to international delivery.
