    An almost perfect floor safe.

    Great solid safe. Was surprised how solid, heavy and large it is for the price. It has a nice locking mechanism too. A great purchase. There is one design floor though with this in my opinion. You have to rely on the key to lift the heavy door plate and it feels that it is only a matter of time before either the key or the lock will be damaged by lifting with it. My solution (see photo) was a thin fabric lanyard attached to an underside bolt head. The fabric is thin and goes in between the gap and won't be seen under a carpet etc. I do think Yale should consider adding something like this.

    Item worth its weight in gold.;

    Quality of product PAR EXCELLENCE - 10/10Larger and a lot more sturdier than I had andpersonal effects of sentimental valueexpected,but but the extra money it cost was well worth it. The company have a reputation to uphold and in this case certainly didn't cut corners. I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS ITEM TO ANYBODY. More than large enough to take valuable documents like wills, life insurance papers o ritems of sentimental value plus any sizable amount of cash. The ONLY criticism I have was it was supplied with normal fixing bolts instead of undoable "clutch bolts" which can never be removed.

    The floor safe is brilliant very well made strong it fits well between the floor joists you get four bolts with it too bolt it down too the joists easy too fit I had no problems fitting it it’s well worth money I would buy it again on problem
