      Adjustable spanner - Had a similar type for 30+ years and found that invaluable...in plumbing jobs mainly.....spanner less bulky than many and able to grip 3 sides of nut in confined spaces., Especially useful on male joints where tons of ptfe tape has been used I have other more thicker spanners, but love the reach, gripping power these have

      Tat!...."Snap on" they aint,but I guess it's still true..You get what you pay for.

      Incredibly inferior metal used in the production of these 10 inch x 250mm drop forged waterpump pliers.Don't bother trying to get a good solid grip on the item you're trying to get a grip on,as the pliers just jump up to the next setting on their own.The pinch bolt(adjusting bolt)is so badly threaded that after two or more adjustments the thread on the bolt breaks away and will no longer tighten.The Adjusting slide becomes ovalated when it should stay round and wears away very quickly.Not the tool a D.I.Y man would want or need to compliment his toolbox.One could be forgiven for thinking these pliers are made from bonfire toffee.Drop forged err.......Nah!

      Good budget grips for occasional use

      These are good low cost grips which I bought for occasional DIY work. Grips have a sensible anti slip coating and adjust well. The connecting bolt/nut is well designed and shouldn't come lose. Would not recommend for daily or heavy duty work but dead on for occasional DIY. Grips were great for getting to a hard to get at tap connector under my kitchen sink as my tap wrench wouldn't reach.

      Had these for quite a while now, they aintnt broked yet

      Not the best grips I have had but then again not the most expensive. Sometimes a bit fiddly holding on to the size set at. Long and the short of it is if you want a better set of pliers, they are going to cost more than five times as much.
