The Selens Magnetic Flash Modifier works to transform bright flash light into a softer, more diffuse light source. It has been designed to work with filters so that the flash can be colour corrected without the use of additional accessories. The silica material has been made to withstand high temperatures while allowing the light to pass through easily. The modifier measures 12 x 7.5 x 7cm.

    Like Magmod but not!

    So being a new photographer you try and save your pennies when you can. This device is one of those times, expanding your flash output by upto 200% you gain a even and soft light from a speed light. I use this the other day as an off camera option and gained great results. My only concern is the magnetic grip that is attached to the flash feels flimsy and didn't have the strength to allow me to just walk around with the attachment on as it kept falling off. But overall a very good buy.
