    Good for the $

    Needed this for a scoped Springfield M1A and it does work. That said, it's a bit of a hassle to install and get really tight on the stock. Haven't fired it yet to see if it will stay in place but it does give the needed height to provide a proper cheek weld and scope alignment. Not sure how the texture of the material will treat my cheek but at least the M1A has minimal recoil compared to a bolt action rifle. Might have to cover it with "moleskin" if it's too abrasive. Nothing is perfect but, for the price, this is one of the better cheek pads I've found, IMO.

    does what it is supposed to , but

    It does raise the comb for a more consistent cheek weld. The cheek pad height is easily adjustable, seems to be well made. It does fit OK. The package has a California lead warning, So I have a good idea where this was made.

    Almost perfect

    Bought this to use on my Mini 14. The rest is really nice except for one flaw. The way the straps are attached they would not tighten. When fully tightened you hit the velcro before it is tight. One needs to know not every item fits every rifle. I decided to just modify it. I cut off the velcro, melted the end is it wouldn't fray and stitched it to the loop. Works just fine now. Raised my cheek right where I needed it.

    In line with the scope

    If your resting your cheek on the rifle stock and your eye is not in line with the scope, you either need to lower the scope or in my case I installed this cheek rest. Which was a great improvement in my shooting.

    Great cheek rest for the money!

    I own two of these cheek pads, and they are both great. Reasonable price. I have one on my Choate tactical stock, and one on my M14 (two very different style of stocks), Very versatile. The material is grippy and soft, feels comfortable to shoot with.
