    A Work of Art (and I Was Skeptical)

    Let's be frank: Today's Perry is not 1987's Perry, or even 1998's Perry. The face, the music...everything has changed, and not always for the better. I grew up a Jane's fan...I even named my dog Perry way back in the day. I loved them, and with a little perspective in many ways i like P4P even more. I liked Songs Yet to be Sung alright, and Satellite Party had a couple of gems...Kind Heaven was a little disappointing after such a long wait for new material. Perry has changed a lot over the years, and that's a good thing. Adapt or perish...some lament the influence of Etty, I don't mind her so much...she makes him happy, as do his kids. I'm not the same carefree bastard I was back in '87...life goes on! I wasn't gonna get this, because I pretty much had all of the audio, and found a decent ...
