It is not veg tan leather, it is likely a combined tanning process, but isn't suitable for carving, shaping embossing etc. Seller has not responded to my concerns, despite several messages explaining that I would be happy to compromise because the leather is of use to me. When you order a product for a job you don't need to be messed around, my output has been delayed due to this poor supply description.
