Great SSD at the best price. Great Brand. Highly Recommended.
It came with Acronis software to clone the disk (it won't run unless there is a Crucial SSD). I had a problem (with cloning, not the SSD). After cloning windows reported my copy of Win 7 was not genuine (it was). Win 7 would not run. Others have had problems when going to SSD. It is not an issue with this product but can affect any SSD and there are lots of people on the internet who have had this problem (with a variety of SSD makes). Microsoft knows about this issue that can occur if Windows thinks that the hardware change is excessive. Their help is useless (it requires you to log into windows which you cannot do). I have purchased two of these SSDs (different PCs). One cloned with no problem. The other locked me out of Win 7. The solution is to use Win 7 to create a disk image and a ... Just buy one, you won’t regret it.
Item was brand new, and sealed. It also arrived with haste. It transformed a 2016 8gb i7 asus, I was thinking of dumping. Fitting was a breeze, even had a spacer for those drive bays and caddy’s that are a little bit deeper. I found no need to update its firmware. So it really was just fit it in its slot, reassemble the laptop, and just let win do its thing. boot up, is just as quick as waking from sleep. No prices for guessing I like, both the price point, and performance. I’m a happy bunny. Item was brand new, and sealed. It also arrived with haste. Ive purchased quite a few of these now, not just for my own use but for friends as well. I would recommend them mainly because of the vast increase in the speed of boot up but it also Improves performance, loading programs a lot faster, with boot up in 30 seconds or less in most cases. Build quality is hard to review as they are all enclosed with no moving parts. If you want to use these in a desktop machine I would suggest you purchase the adapter that converts from 2.5" to 3.5" , easy to fit and install. Great product so easy to install ,, I had a problem on a Lenovo yoga ,One key does not like it and could not get it to work , But then used the drive on my other laptop without One key Recovery and it worked first time super fast loading , very happy the crucial videos are well done

good value for money had a problem formatting it so that i could install windows 10 on it .its a lot faster then my old sata hard drive .i did not want to buy a cheap brand due to bad reviews .
