It should be warm enough for a fall day, or colder if you layer. It smells exactly like a military surplus store. The stitching could be better, as it is uneven, but it seems like it will hold up well. The cloth is pretty stiff (the jacket can almost stand itself up), though it should break in with use. Epic Militaria shipped very quickly.
