        Great replacement

        I bought one of these for my Sony MZ-N1 as a direct replacement for the way over priced Sony original battery if able to find one new anyway. I paid as little as £2.99, althou apprehensive before buying & even after purchase I awaited my joy or disappointment. Once I fitted my Mini disc player in it's cradle and power supply plugged in, I knew it was working as light came on mini disc player. As I tried other way to charge it ie direct into unit via power supply did not seem to work, but did via cradle. I don't know how long the Sony original lasted for but I can get a good 3 days commuting out of it and use a little at home if I want before it needs charging. So good I bout a spare battery as well...Love it

        Gumstick battery type brings my portable Disc Sony Walkman CD player back to life

        What a joy it was to find the NH-14WM Gumstick battery listed on Ebay. I found this battery to be robust and long lasting in my player for many hours. I recommend this brand based on my experience.

        Value replacement battery

        not had long enough to confirm, quality, ie how many charges battery will take. But takes charge and has adequate play time and holds charge Ok. Cant complain for the money

        Used in Sony Minidisc recorder MZ-NF810.

        After 2 charge & discharge cycles. It ran for 14.5 hours and smart charger rated it at 1106 m/a on its 3rd charge. Sony battery level indicator is inaccurate and appears to be calibrated for 1.5 volt alkaline batteries not 1.2 volt nimh batteries, so it will read low. It may be best to use external smart charger and not the Sony Minidisc built in charger, it may not fully charge as the new battery has a higher capacity than the original Sony battery. Overall, very pleased to get my Minidisc recorder back running without the external battery pack.
