    Nostalgic perfection.

    Comprehensive collection of the letter from America by Alistair Cooke in a convenient & compact set. His voice is of such soothing & compelling quality you can not fail to be mesmerised whether you were/are a fan or not and the content is historic, insightful & intelligent. Cooke often displayed an ability to weigh up politics astutely and with hindsight remains every bit as considered & gracious. He was unique, it is unlikely there will be another broadcaster quite so captivating in his field again & he absolutely deserves, indeed needs, to be remembered & treasured for ever. Letters from America withstand, in fact almost demand repeated listens. It is a true classic of a series. Therefore, I highly recommend this product.
