    Driver/Drill

    Shipping was fast, just a few days to Florida. Accessory kit included, bits, sockets, drivers, extension. Bright LED light, 0-variable speed, Great buy for the $30. And a really nice case for drill, charger, accessories.. Our only negative, is, the feel and smell of machine oil, or lubricant used in the manufacturing process....? The accessories are covered with this. The other negative is the drill is top heavy and will not stand on base of battery, must be laid down.. Overall, this will not be used everyday, just needed for the Condo in Florida

    DeWalt is a strong competitor with the other 2 big brands, and they build some strong tools that help build America and beyond. Update 7-15-22 This DCD996 has quit working after some frequent use today.

    Great performance and value

    This is my second DeWalt battery powered drill. While I've had good service from the original tool, the hammerdrill feature and long life Li-Ion batteries make this a superior product. It is strongly constructed to handle tough jobs. Not the lightest of its type, but well balanced and easy to hold. DeWalt has provided me many useful tools with excellent value.

    Great purchase great buy.

    New in the box. Black tie still in place, plastic bags on battery and drill. Manufactured date was 2018 47 which means 2nd or 3rd week of November 2018 this product was made. Retail value was twice as much as what l paid for item. Only thing l could think of was that a company was going out of business they had to liquidate the stock and this item was in it. Contacted DeWalt registered this product told them it was a gift and it was purchased at this time. DeWalt told me the only thing they will ask you for warrenty info is ths manufacture date and the next number next to it (2018 48-49 2-2). They only care about the year and the next number is the week of the year it was built. This is the same for the battery and drill both in a kit. Hope this helps you if you should have problems ...

    A real workhorse

    I am a professional in remodelingrdd c bv Z xdd cvcv zee f fv CDC: vcv s and restoration for residential and small commercial buildings. I wor etrd ETFs rt dry rrk out of my truck and have limited tool space so I only use one brand zzz's fc and the same battery foreverything. I heavily lean on my DeWalt XR 20 volt tools...they're consistent and dependable.
