      Try it.

      I have a large wound on a shin which has left multiple dry skin scales along with a purpleish shade. It's unsightly but the Bio-oil does tend to hide rather well the disfigurement and the dry patches become easy to clear off. I haven't been successful in improving the appearance with any other liquid/cream/oil. Obviously it's great to use on less obvious blemishes/scars too.
