    The Salsa Legend.

    Based on a true life story. Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez and the rest of the cast did a great. Even with Hector Lavoe's unfortunate events he is a legend for Salsa Lovers. Took place in New York and Puerto Rico. Great memories of my childhood Everytime I watch this movie.

    Love!

    This has become one of my favorite movies. The characters were glamorous and exciting and I love the fact that you actually got to hear most of the music. Marc Anthony's singing in this movie was soooo beautiful that I had to buy the soundtrack. He brought Hector to life! JLo made you want to watch her over and over again for fashion inspiration.

    Aside from the misrepresentation of the lyrics on the songs, this is an excellent pick. If you like Salsa, you'll love this movie. I'm not about to give away plots or scenes, you'll just have to buy it and see for yourselves. It has everything you could expect, music, drug use, profanity, and self destruction. To truly understand and appreciate the music industry in those days, you just has to be there. So if you weren't then this is as close as you'll come. The clubs, night life and expressionism that were experienced in those days are gone and this movie brings a portion of that feeling back to life. ENJOY
