    A great black and white film of it's time.

    A great black and white film of it's time. It brilliantly captures London after the war, with lots of the best comedy actors of the day doing what they do best. Brilliantly directed by Joan Littlewood.

    Really title of song sung by Barbara Windsor...very emotional

    fascinating story of East London after 2nd WW with slums being demolished and replaced high rise as background of film The title is really only sung as the early credits appear but beautifully sung Do love 'Mr Jobsworth' small part but spot on...known a few.
