This is Rick Mayalls last testimony . He wants us all to open our eyes , question what were told, question everything. He made this film fully knowing it would be his last . He loved earth, he loved people. He was also friends with the most powerful of people and so would have factually known truth most of us would turn our eyes up at. He want to make you think when you watch this film , he wanted to wake you up. If you’ve not seen this , please buy it watch it to the end, watch it twice if need be . Look for yourself at the world we live in today, 10 years after the making of the film. 7 years after he’s Suspicious passing. This was the last film he stared in I wonder why. Interesting concept, poorly executed.
I really wanted this to be good. I really did. The themes the film explores were highly relevant when it was made but are even more relevant today. The problem with the film is twofold: the script and the performances. First, the script is clunky. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. It starts to explore some interesting ideas and then fails to expand on them, leaving the viewer to wonder if there was anything there in the first place. Second, the performances were, at best, average. Some of the actors were downright poor to be honest. Rik Mayall is a fine actor when given the right material to work with but unfortunately even he couldn't lift the film – mostly because his character had the depth of a puddle. He was given so little to work with and his character ... I really wanted this to be good. I really did. A girl's slow realisation of what the future holds
The first half of film is quite slow and is only really to set the scene for the lead character girl's awakening. It is a serious subject but was spoilt a bit about how they thought the 9/11 twin towers should have come down, imagining that a flimsy aircraft could have damaged the building's of concrete and steel frame. The world trade centre collapsed because of excessive heat from the burning of a long haul flight fuel, plus its reserves and the shredded aluminium which once ignited would create so much heat it would have weakened the building's steel support columns and the weight of floors above would have started a unstoppable jack hammer effect to collapse all floors in turn But if you know nothing about 2030 it's worth watching The first half of film is quite slow and is only really to set the scene for the lead character girl's awakening. Dreadful sound quality and dreadful production but nice idea!
The concept is original enough, girl gets educated in the New World Order Plan. But the sound quality is dreadful. Loud music with very quiet voices. Then over dubbed voices with clicks heard at the end of the overdub inclusion. The film looks like it’s been put together on an iPhone and then bootlegged by some dodgy back street film copier..
