I brought the cheapest carpet I could find as a temporary floor covering whilst waiting for my bedroom to be renovated. This isn't what I was expecting. The pile is so dense, you cannot see through it, you can't even see the backing when if you pull the pile apart. It's comfy underfoot which I wasn't expecting without underlay. It's been down a week and still looks amazing
