      The item, a CD player, was listed as fully working. It arrived in undamaged packaging, but when used it constantly skipped forward. It did this with 4 different CDs and was clearly *not* fully working when it was sold. I sent the player to a reputable electronic engineer, who reported that the original laser was worn out and that playback was "pretty hopeless". I opted to have the item repaired. I requested a partial refund to cover the expense. The seller absolutely refused this.

      The comment is incorrect, the point is distorted. This player isn’t new, I used it very occasionally and probably some cleaning of a laser or so was needed.I asked a buyer to let me know how much would he like to be partially refundedto decide to pay that or take this player back.No response received.After 10 days a buyer informed me the repairs have already been done and tried to push me to pay £123,50.I declined that because a buyer didn’t give me ability to choose/confirm my choice.
