    Sennheiser HD 579

    took a chance on these,good price,out of the box sounded ok at best, muddy bass,empty mids dull highs,anyway after 4-5 hrs these were totally different cans all of the above faults gone,nice deep bass mids spot on treble fine,i`m not a believer in burn in,but what a difference,Ive listened to many decent headphones,these are not the best,but for the price they are very very good,and worth every penny (with burn in)

    Sennheiser HD 579. I finally found what I was searching for. .

    Comfortable, lightweight yet sturdily built headphones. Excellent clarity. Punchy bass when required and powered by the good quality equipment. Definitely recommend to those entering the world of high end headphones. Side note: Open back headphones are great, but bear in mind that they do leak sound and can disturb those around you.
