    Classics are better than new movies - The Hustler beats this sequel

    After loving the Hustler so much, I was hoping this sequel would hold water. It's ok, but it sure doesn't compare to the original - The Hustler. Cruz was not as good as he usually is in most movies. I kept thinking he'd break and share that his father ran out on him or beat him at some point in the movie, but he instead becomes a jerk. I thought the movie really left us hanging unsatisfied at the end. Newman was ok, but he didn't seem to be the same character as in the Hustler. But Newman himself said that this was the sequel to that movie, so he was to play the same character. Anyway, I think they could've done more with such a great premise for a movie and base from the Hustler.

    I shoot a lot of pool.

    The movie is ok with an easy plot line and fairly good acting. The music is not great and most scenes are a stretch to believe. The best or my favorite scene is when Forest Whitaker makes an appearance and that's only for a quick 5 minute scene and past half way through.

    Awesome classic movie depicting the game of 9 ball. This movie takes place 25 years after the " hustler" following the life of fast Eddie Felson.. Fast eddie now teams up with a young pool player named Vince( tom cruise) and takes him on the road to hustle the game of 9 ball. Directed by Martin Scorsese, a classic movie that any pool enthusiast would enjoy, if you have not seen this movie I would highly recommend it

    Pursuit of dollars for games
