    This brush set arrived on time. It was packaged carefully with a packing slip from seller with info in case I needed to return the item. I was impressed that the seller understood the need for a possible return.     It Worked To Seal a Birdbath!

    I had been looking for a product that I could use to reseal the cement bird bath in my yard that was easy to apply and not toxic to birds. Before using this product, my bird bath would leak and be empty within 24 hours. First, I thoroughly cleaned the birdbath with a brush and let it dry for several days. Then, I gave the bird bath multiple light coats of the Sherwin Williams 1308 Krylon matte spray. When I finally refilled it with water, to my surprise, there was absolutely no leakage. It worked!

    Good quality sealer. But mattes shinny paint.

    This should have been obvious to me, I had some small gun models that I painted with silver and gun metal paints, and when I applied this matte coat it dulled the shine of the metal paints. But well, that was kind of expected for the clear coat to be matte. My bad. I just thought to give you a heads-up if your application is similar.

    Suitable For Metal Finishing

    This product is generally used to protect artwork and commercial art from dust, fingerprint smudges and discoloring caused for many reasons. It works equally well as a protective coating for metal surfaces. A raw finished metal panel is often irradiated or anodized to achieve the same result. Two coats evenly applied achieve a similar appearance and protection.
