        The album that made it feel okay to be a geek.

        This year in high-school my girlfriend recommended me this band called "Weezer" at first I was a little a skeptical as the name was goofy but I love her so I figured I'd give it a shot. Immediately from the first track I could tell I was going to love this album all the way through "My Name Is Jonas" has this triumphant feeling too it whether it's the finger picked intro or the killer main power chords. The other stand outs to me are "Say It Ain't So" which deals with the subject matter of Rivers' struggle with his fathers drinking issues that features great thought provoking lyrics and a killer guitar solo. My other favorites are "Only in Dreams" and "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here" the rest of the album is great and flawless but these tracks strike me harder than the others. ...

        it was supposed to come in early november, it got delayed a few weeks :( it was meant to be a birthday gift. wound up being a VERY late gift. overall though the cd plays well. thank you.

        Classic 90's rock pop

        When this album came out I heard some posers on the subway talking about how a band with the name would never last... they were wrong. These guys write good songs and play them well.
