Well performing and long lasting kettle.
This is our second although the first is still going strong after several years. Longest lasting kettle we have ever had. It pours perfectly and the windows either side tell exactly how much water you have in. We heard this model was being discontinued so got this as a future replacement. The silent feature is puzzling because both kettles sound like a steam engine blowing off especially during the first minute or so. At last a kettle that ticks (almost ) all the boxes.
I rarely place reviews but I couldn't let the Luna kettle go without praise. Ours has now been in daily use for several weeks and we've been delighted with it from the start. It's not silent of course, but so quiet that the TV next to it in the kitchen can be listened to without the volume needing to be increased. That was annoyingly impossible with our several previous kettles. We also like the speed of boiling, the perfect pouring from the spout, the comfort of the handle, and the general good looks. Being able to view the water level through the side as the kettle is being filled is imperative for us. We can't understand why some kettles have the level indicator behind the handle, almost hidden from view when filling! The 3-year extended guarantee is also pleasing as previous ... We haven't noticed the plastic taint reported by some users (perhaps because we have hard water?) so have left the '1-2-3 cup' indicator in place, though we don't bother to use it. Our previous kettle had a 2-cup marking on the side glass - far easier to judge the fill level that way than having to peer through the top of the kettle when it is under the tap! But that really is our only negative.

A great all-rounder kettle
Easy to measure fill with fill guide, quiet boil, comfortable handle, pop-up lid, good pourer. A great all-rounder kettle provided you can get it at a reasonable price. Unfortunately not easy to repair!
