    Highly customizable and attractive 30" electric cooktop for under $1k

    The touch-controlled Bosch 800 30" electric cooktop delivers precise heating in a range of customizable burner sizes for most cooking needs. The (mostly) intuitive controls require simple (dry) fingertip operation and allow easy access and function of the cooktop. The addition of both a "boost" setting as well as a combined burner for long-shaped (oval or rectangular) pans provides faster heating and flexibility for pan arrangement. The offset of the 2 right side burners allows easier access to pots and pans as well as space to move hot items off of still warm burners. The "boost" setting does seem to heat up the burner faster but not necessarily the pot or pan itself (it obviously depends on the item). While there are some 30" cooktops with 5 burners (Kitchenaid for example) I prefer the ...
