I was not observant enough to notice from the thumbnail picture that the substitute pan was smooth bottomed. I agreed to the substitution. I have to say when I received it I was disappointed. There was no problem with the quality but it was not what I wanted. It was my fault, so I can't justify sending it back, although I think they should have drawn attention to the difference when making the offer.
