It took just a few minutes learning how to force it through a smaller gap created by plasterboard and once in I could see that another rod was required to fill the larger void immediately at the window-frames edge. It is now fully packed with the foam rod and is ready for finishing off with silicone. The rods probably saved using four tubes of conventional filler,
