    Good tool for light use

    I've used a few of this type of micro-file. Most are almost smooth, so nearly useless. This one is somewhat sharper, so better for adjusting nut slots etc. It's no replacement for a decent set of nut files, but it is only a tiny percentage of the price. If you have just one or two guitars to fettle, this will be fine. If you need a tool to use repeatedly, or to cut a nut from scratch, you'll need something better.

    Rubbish

    Didn't expect much for the price but had hoped it would do what I needed and file the slots in one of my guitars. No such luck, the metal on the files is soft and won't touch anything hard like bone nuts. May be OK for a one off fettling of plastic nuts but useless for harder nuts.

    Great for fine tuning guitar nut string slots

    This budget product is an excellent little tool for adapting a guitar nut. I bought a bone nut where some of the string slot diameters were a bit small and I managed to open them up using this tool. It was hard going but it did the job. I wouldn't use it for a bone nut with no starting slots! I expect it would be excellent on a nylon nut but I haven't tried that.

    A useful lightweight gadget.

    This is very useful for cleaning and clearing nozzles down to a very fine internal diameter. As the probes are grooved they can also be used as a very fine file . In addition there is a useful flat file. Although it could be a little more robust ,at the asking price, it is good value and very compact.

    Useful product.The thinnest seams should be used carefully as they are not too hard. The case slightly interferes with filing, but it's good for storage.
