    Good stuff, really tough. I've found the best way to cut it to size without unthreading it, is to put it in a vice, don't tell the girlfriend you're borrowing her sharpest knife, and cut it using the knife against the vice in a sawing motion. Cable tie when you've finished then go over the edge with a heat gun or even a cigarette lighter to stop any fraying.
