      Works Great with my Boss SY-1 as an Expression or Volume Pedal.

      I bought this as an expression pedal for my Boss SY-1 and it did everything it was supposed to do. However after trying it out, I had no real reason to use it as an expression pedal. Luckily, this can also be used as a volume pedal. As I am sending the signal from my SY-1 direct to the PA, I now route it via this pedal , which allows me to adjust the effect level on the fly. My 5 star rating takes into account that this pedal only cost me £20. Although made of plastic, it feels solid. The pedal stays where it's positioned with do creep detected. I took a sneaky look inside and found that the control pot is very small, so I would not expect this pedal to last long if it's used a lot for continuously swelling a signal. However it is perfect for my needs.

      Light weight pedal board space saver

      The unit does what it should. However, I am returning it because my Fuzz pedals do not like it in front of them. I was toying with the idea to exchange the pot in order to make it fit, but decided in the end to upgrade to the active Volwah version with its buffer circuit. Again, there is nothing wrong with the pedal, it works and is rugged enough to gig with it, no doubt.

      Tiny but good

      Well built and doesn't take up lots of room like full size pedal can. You still need to leave room for your foot but generally this is about placement where as a full size pedal just eats up the space on your board. I tested it both as an expression pedal and as a volume pedal and both worked well with a smooth action.
