      WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SNIPER WHO SURVIVES

      You do get a very good awareness of what personal qualities are needed to become a successful sniper. This book details how long it took the British Army to realise the incredible impact a sniper can have on backing up/covering patrols and in disrupting enemy patrols and operations. He details what operations he did, the long shot that is/was a world record distance shot then his disillousion with how he was treated by the Army when, after the uncourted media fame, his life (and that of his family) was at risk and he felt abandoned. This book explains the use to an army of good snipers, gives some history of sniping and, like I say, the personal qualities (especially incredible patience and planning) required to be a sniper - who survives!
