    A good way to make accessible paint from old bunged up paint tubes with caps missing. I inherited a good few like this and decided it was the way to go. Picture indicates first attempt. Technique can be improved ie cutting corner off end of original tube or the spout end whereupon a smaller orifice could be inserted into the new tube and a vice used perhaps.

    Gives your medium longer life

    Unlike a tin , tubes keep the air from drying out the paint , essential with cashew urushi which starts to cure once the pot is opened
