    An oldie but goodie

    I bought this as a general camera for taking 'snaps'. My phone is useful as it's always with me and my pro kit I use on assignments not for casual use. I owned an earlier version and liked the size, build quality, feature set and tactile feel of the thing. Still some shutter lag on this version but it's eight years old and can be forgiven considering what I bought if for.

    Fantastic compact camera

    I took a chance when buying this as I am not a photographer however it paid off. The quality of images is superb and I like the normal view finder when abroad and the light is strong and the digital screen can’t always be seen.

    So good I bought two!

    I bought my first one about 10 years ago and when it showed signs of failing on me I bought a replacement. It works beautifully. Turns out that the first one was still OK. Just a failed memory card. So now I have a wonderful backup - just in case! David

    A simple but excellent camera.

    My old Canon G12 developed a serious fault. I decided against a repair and purchased this replacement which has been hardly used. It is souperb and all my old attachments fit. I also now have a couple of spare batteries.
