    The original version of Poldark really does make excellent viewing, very enjoyable and carries one back to, a time and place.

    I Prefer the older productions, because they are true to time and place. The newer productions have, people of African, and Pakistani origin, acting the parts of British people at a time when it was impossible for them to have been there. This is political correctness gone stark raving mad! I have nothing against these actors, most of them are fine actors, but I am a stickler for detail, and facts, if they are playing a role true to time and place of their arrive in Britain, that is fine, but I wish that people would stop rewriting history to suit a politically motivated narrative, not all of us have gone insane.

    Original version of Poldark 1975

    The product is advertised with it's production date of 2015 which sounds modern. Actually it is a converted VHS recording of the show which was produced in 1975. This series on DVD has not been enhanced and so is of poor quality and plain coloured. Please read the product details properly so you aren't disappointed
